THE EFFECT OF DIETARY INCLUSION OF AZOLLA PINNATA ON THE GROWTH PERFORMANCE OF ARCHACHATINA MARGINATA
This study investigates the impact of Azolla pinnata on the growth performance of Archachatina marginata, showing significant improvements in weight gain and shell size, especially at a 50% inclusion level.
ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF MICROORGANISMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE HAEMOLYMPH OF DIFFERENT GROWTH PHASES OF GIANT AFRICAN LAND SNAIL (Archachatina marginata)
Isolation, determination of microbial load and identification of microorganisms associated with haemolymph of the three stages of development of the giant African land snail Archachatina marginata was investigated in this study.
GROWTH PERFORMANCE OF GIANT AFRICAN LAND SNAIL (Archachatina marginata) FED VARYING DIETARY PROTEIN AND ENERGY LEVEL
A 10-weeks study was conducted to determine the effect of varying dietary protein and energy levels on performance of growing giant African land snail (GALS), Archachatina marginata. One hundred and forty-four snails with mean weight of 138.48g were used for this study.
